he was not sociopathic
a sociopathic person is someone who does not register other people as people and views them as THINGS sociopathic people are in cabaple of understanding that there are otehr people besides themselves lelouch's entire plan was the purpose of making life better for OTHER PEOPLE and hence could not be called sociopathic in any way it may be morally horrible and repolisive but its not sociopathic and while we dont know if he used the actual fleja bombs against targets we do know that he killed alot of people before the end (there is a reason why he is so hated and feared) and again this is not sociopathic or psychopathic (psychos do understand other people exist, and ENJOY hurting them) but simply an "ends justify the means" mind frame just becouse his behavior is not on par with normal human behaivor it doesnt automaticlly suggest mental disorder on his part

Yep, Lelouch is definitely not a sociopath - that title goes to Light from Death Note already... and maybe Schneizel.
I wouldn't say a sociopath can't comprehend the fact that there are other people beside him, though... he's aware of that, just like he knows the difference between "right" and "wrong". He just doesn't really care most of the time. As far as I know, sociopaths only experience a very shallow range of emotions, and tend to have no sense of guilt. Some other criterias - like being manipulating and cunning and appearing charming to those around them - fit Lelouch quite well, but not the truly important ones. You don't need to be a sociopath to kill people without any hesistation. If that was the case, most characters in Code Geass were sociopaths, including Clovis, who, I'll admit, might fit some of the more important criterias quite well if it wasn't for his obvious attachment to Lelouch and the respective Sound Drama. Lelouch is someone who will kill his own heart and "kindness" to achieve his goals in a matter of seconds. But he feels very strongly and passionatly, and can therefore hardly be considered a sociopath. His psychological issues (that he definitely has in my opinion) are much less "severe" than that and are mostly unhealthy for him himself.

And yeah, Kallen's gumline, that is quite..a hurtful story. @Nogitsune:: You say in the beginning, that "he is definitely not a sociopath". Therefore, the "can be considered a sociopath", does sound a bit peculiar in the end of your post. ;; |

I think I edited it some seconds after I first posted it, but that was a long time before you answered, and it was about some minor thing. If I'd edited it so many hours later and after logging out inbetween, the forum would probably tell you. xD Edit: And anyway, if you look at the context, everything but the "hardly" wouldn't make any sense. xD
