10. I heard this from somewhere, will someone please tell me if it's true or not? I heard that in Kai 13, Takano dissected(sp?) Rika and then ate her.

If I could get all my questions answered, I would greatly appreciate it!

1. Keiichi was very delusional. Mion and Rena never did anything to him.

2. Yes, basically.

3. Not really. She can see Hanyuu and all that, but she's not really a reincarnation (maybe a messenger).

4. The real Mion is who we see as Shion. The real Shion is who we see as Mion. they made a mistake at birth and gave Shion the tattoo, so Shion became Mion. So yeah, you had it right.

5. It's safe to assume they tried to take advantage of her.

8. Kai 14 and 15 answer that. She wanted to "prove" her adoptive father's research was correct.

9. Yes.

10. Not true. She did cut her open and leave her body there, though.

I was also lead to believe that Mion and Shion knew that they were in the wrong places, which would mean that they had to be old enough to remember.

Rika is the reincarnation of the god. That's why she can interact with Hanyuu in the first place.

Indeed. If they had been switched at birth then there wouldn't have been a problem, since 'Mion' would have always thought of herself as Shion and vice versa.

Just out of curiosity, in the original sound novel, which sprite got added in each arc? Some of them are obvious like Shion but I would like to know when we first saw the sprites of characters like Chie for exemple.

4. you are right, the first siwtch is never mentioned in the anime, though.

5. She was in level 5 and apparently they tried to rape her.

6. nothing, it does not exist. some people mistake level5 for the curse, though.

7. bernkastel is a being made by all the memories rika can't carry to her physical bodies, since it's been repeated thousands of times, she is almost exactly like rika,except that she is broken.

8. she only wants to kill rika so she can erase hinamisawa from the map, and thus get her revenge on tokyo.

9. yes. they even deleted the soup scene, in which he hears them more clearly.

10. she never eats her.

Irie appears in Tatarigoroshi-hen & Himatsubishi-hen.
Chie appears in Tatarigoroshi-hen.

Other than that, no other sprites appear in the archive.

Also, there's a reason why he hallucinated the needle. When Keiichi was younger, he read a manga in which someone swallowed a needle that was in his food. Keiichi was traumatized because of this scene and even stopped eating for a while.

So there's no sprite for Teppei in Tatarigoroshi-hen? He's the reason why everything went wrong in this arc so it's kinda weird for him to not even have a sprite.

What's the relationship between Ooishi & Irie? In Onikakushi, Ooishi summons Irie to the first crime scene, which he was trying to keep secret, implying he trusts Irie to a certain degree (or is that anime only?). In Tatarigoshi, Irie clearly has a low opinion of Ooishi.
