Manga only. This is a pretty new series, with its second volume coming out on 5/18.

Maria Holic

I honestly think this is one of the best in generals, as a time killer at least. Very mild in general; yet very well rounded, and cute characters.

Isn't the fact that the main character is a Lesbian and is constantly surrounded by women good enough as a 'Yuri Harem?' I can't really tell since I've never gotten into the Yuri section myself.

Well, if you look at any harem out there, there's always a love story at the center of it: the main point is watching the protagonist getting one of the girl. But Maria Holic is exactly the opposite; the main point is no seeing Kanako getting a girl, but rather her inability to get any. That's the supposed hilarity to it, and why it's a parody, and not really yuri.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation. I probably won't ever watch a Yuri, since homosexual tendencies tend to turn me off regardless of what gender it is recurring to.

Hmm, you might struggle to find a yuri harem show, but there are a few yuri-themed or hinted shows. Here's a bit of a list that I know of:

Strawberry Panic
Maria-sama ga miteru*
Blue Drop*
Simoun*
Kannazuki no Miko*
Mai-HiME*/Mai-Otome
Candy Boy
Shoujo Sect
El Cazador del la Bruja*
Noir*
Madlax*
::Shudders:: Ikkitousen franchise.
Kashimashi
Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru Eh, do you classify a trap as yuri?
Strike Witches
Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito
Revolutionary Girl Utena

The ones that have stars next to them are ones that I've watched and have decent plots behind them. Some of these shows are subtexty, but you should enjoy them.

Steel Angel Kurumi Second Season is the closest thing to a yuri harem and perhaps the only anime yuri harem title. There are several girls after the protagonist girl who is a descendant of that annoying little boy from the first season. Luckily, he is LONG dead during her time period in the future.

Here is the info on that one. I own the dvd set and wasted my money on the first season since it all came together. Haven't watched the first season yet but I have heard it has some yuri but the first season has a male protagonist going through the usual boring harem routine.

Well, there's also Kampfer, though the center of the harem is a gender-bent guy.

Come to think of it, wasn't Kampfer, Ep. 3 a parody of Marimite?

Not sure why people mention Mai-Hime and Simoun as yuri. Mai-Hime has close to zero yuri moments and Simoun isnt more friendship between girls rather than yuri heavy either. Girls kissing girls isnt always yuri.

Maybe the OP means yuri as simply a story involving girls liking girls.

Anyways, more recent stuff:
