Yeesh, streaming is bleh and doesn't bode too well for me. I know that an aussie company are also airing it close to the time it airs in Japan.
Well if anyone knows of a good streaming website that isn't JP IP blocked, do be so kind to drop me a note on my profile board

I can (almost) visualise how they'd montage the opening it in tune to the beat.
Openings typically take the song parts of:

1st Verse + chorus
Last Chorus

For the odd 90 secs or so, so listening to it a few times with those in mind, it's still meh, lol.
The montage will probably be interesting, but it's not an mp3 single that i'll be rushing to snag.

edit:
since i was bored, i edited what I think the OP may sound like for the anime.
Pardon my mini patch cut, i couldn't fine tune the point to seemlessly weave the last part of the tune mid chorus (this song's a little difficult for that) and i got lazy to nit pick it, lol.
YUI - Again (edited for 110secs)

Hearing it this way, i can see how it'd grow on me in time but overall, but it's still too... tame for me, 3/5
(feels like it suits a FMP opening rather...)
Download to your HD, play on a loop, see how you feel

OP is ok. Main problem is Yui's vocals really don't match it, guitar riffs are pretty awesome though. I can easily see if they edit it correctly how it would be an amazing OP but eh.

For those interested, the streaming thing will also be available in France, thanks to Dybex.

Free, each ep within 3 or 4 days of japanese broadcast.

I guess, I'm the only one who liked it, in fact I prefer it to the first and third OP's of the original series. It wasn't what I was expecting but, I do think it fit's the series pretty well.

Well it's going to be a much closer adaptation to the manga, so you'd expect them to start from the beginning of the manga.

Since FUNi are not especially nice people and keeping the FMA2 streaming US only it's either fansubs or waiting several years for the DVDs.

A fun time ahead for me.

You do realize FUNimation isn't at fault. They can only stream in terrotiries they're given the rights to. That's unfortunately how rights work.

And besides, if you really wanted to watch this, there are ways to do so without resorting to fansubs or rips. You could stream it on their site using another method and it would be still supporting the company.

They could try. Show that they care.

And I do really want to watch it but it looks like fansubs or DVDs coming out 20XX are the only way to go. And what did you mean by the last part?

Although apparently for the 1st episode at least they are going with their own story.

You know what? I was thinking about this...and I'm really excited about it. I'm really happy that they will following the manga closer, even though I liked the other series too, I still think this is going to be great!

but...I got a little sad about something too. Nina and Alexander. Seriously, they are going to make us sit through that all over again...and I think it was worse in the manga. (from what I can remember) I dont want to see them die again... that happens pretty early on too right?
