we know we can play old ps1 game on ps2 console, can we save the game using ps1 memory card using ps2 console?

u could only save on ps1 memory card if its a ps1 game
if its ps2 u could only save on ps2 memory card
however u could copy the ps1 memorycard files to ps2 memorycard
but u cannot load a ps1 game with ps2 memorycard

Storage space. You could fit the entire contents of even the biggest PS1 card into a small fraction of the space on a PS2 card.
