What the **** was in the bag Archer had? spoilers

Ive looked in the ep 34 thread and didnt see it
What did Archer have in the bag that would keep Greed off of him
Why did it desolve when Greed went away?

ok that makes sense. The skull of that skeloten was missing from the table and thats why it went away when Greed did

ok so who was "that person"?

I really didn't understand why Greed would want to carry his "kryptonite" around with him...why not just tell one of his loyal chimeras to render the bag of junk into powder and dump it in the ocean. -__-;;

Te condition of the skeleton seems irrelavant to me. If such were the case, Envy could've taken Greed out long time ago or even threatened to do so again, but all that little shithead said was "once I find the skull I'm seal you up again"...
