Codec for Rumic Theatre
I have episode of Rumic theatre from Live Evil, it was working fine when I downloaded it. But recently I upgraded my ffdshow alpha 2003-05-23 codec to ffdshow-20040520-p3. Strangely I couldn't watch Rumic theatre anymore, everytime I open the file, I got an error message and the media player just shut down. If I switch back to the old ffdshow it works fine again.
I tought this is kinda strange. I'm not really understand how codec works. If anyone can give me better explanation or make a sugestion what I should do, should I stick with the old version? or other codec entirely?

Unfortunately there are some problems with the 2004-05-20 build of ffdshow. Most particularly that build causes problems if you aren't using a Pentium3. I have removed it from the Media Codec Guide until I can ask Animaniac why he prefered it for use. I recommend ffdshow-20040514 as the latest best build.

I linked the P3-optimized buiild because I thought no one would be running anything older than a Pentium 3 in this day and age. I'm not entierly sure if anything older would be very successful at playing back anime anyway. I've updated the guide with a non-optimized build from the same date and below it I have linked the optimized build as an alternate. Just to note the P3-optimzied build is significantly faster on today's computers. Sorry for the trouble.
You should upgrade your computer.
