There is anime series, rather long, just by different name Blood+ Same girl (yes, it's the same Saya, just her personality is different till about episode 30), same world, just happening in current timeline, not Vietnam war. I like that show, althought it haven't as good animation as Blood: The Last Vampire. Blood+ answers for almost every question you could have about Saya.

But as I am part of the Fan Dumb, I do not consider it canon nor do I acknowledge it as what had happen to Saya after Vietnam. Also, wasn't it an alternate universe story?

I have this great anime movie on DVD, but only in English dubbed form

The good news is that they're releasing the original Japanese one with English subtitles on DVD here in the UK by the end of this month luckily, which I will also have to buy
