We deacons of the true Church of Moe can only pray that those bassist-obsessed heathens will see the light and that Alter!Yuki will be the USB flash drive to Mio's floppy disk, ridding this fandom of that blight of an animated hussy for all generations. Can I get an "Amen"...

I find Yuki-chan to be funny, not moe. Otaku covert pervert = hilarious.

Ooh...sorry, looks like our discussion has strayed out of the Haruhi-chan area. The Alter!Yuki we are talking about has to do with Volume 4 of the novel series (soon to animated at a TV near you, unless you don't live in Japan!), which is now apparently being expanded upon in a Yuki-channish manner in the aforementioned new manga by the same guy that brought us Haruhi-chan.

This is the difference:

Yuki-chan (from Haruhi-chan) is funny. Agreed.
Alter!Yuki (from novels, non-"chan" series) is moe. You will see what we are talking about. If you have an internet, you will not be able to avoid it. If you think Mio from K-On! is everywhere, you ain't seen nothin' yet. If I were 4chan, I'd get more servers. Yesterday.

Yuki-chan (from the upcoming manga of the containing the same name) is probably some combination of the two, leaning toward the former.

To say more would bring spoilers. Read the books.

In other news, the Taiwan Kadokawa Mandarin version of Haruhi-chan Vol. 2 is coming out mid-July. Look out for it!

Have Vol. 1 with me. It's funny. FULL STOP.

Ahhh, i don't know. Watching the normal Haruhi, i sorta miss the characters in Haruhi chan. I hope someday Kyoani will make a crossover between them.

Got any pics of the Yuki figurine? It's Yuki from Haruhi chan or normal Yuki?

Churuya-san also has a Puchi Nendoroid for the next volume.

Neeeed to see this.

Edit: What does it say Tanigawa did on the cover? Is he just being given credit for the characters again?

Kinda hard to say if it ever will be either. Internet content, might be a hard. Especially if the original cast is too expensive.

They'll just wait until the rest of the new Haruhi episodes are up then do them all at once.

I'm so going to buy it! Really cute. I'll probably gonna get Churuya one too, but what i really wanted was a Miss Dust figurine. That would rock.

And Yuki in that Dissapearence cover looks totally different. The hair, expression... She even got BOOBIES. That's waaay off, hehe.
