'Oba' actually means 'over'.

You end a radio message with 'over', you only acknowledge a message with 'roger'. The fansub got their radio communications wrong lol

IF YOU'RE ON Eastern time, it'll be 11:40AM. That's 00:40 Tokyo time. If you're on the internet enough, you can find the English Mazui sub in ~6 hours.

does the series release weekly? for some reason i heard it was a monthly series, but it seems like the gap between episodes 3-4 was only 1 week

I have a question. How is it that in the light novels 'Endless eight' ends at 15,498, yet the anime has continued onto 15,499?

The anime don't need to be 100% like the novel. Just a number is a very irrelevant change and was usefull to shok the novel readers.

Another exemple: on the novel the little sister never goes with the SOS dan to the Island, yet, she does so on the anime.

KyoAni is trying to piss us off, basically. The adaptation is trying to emphasize the "Endless."

He only knows of one iteration, and if it was 15,500 or beyond, I doubt he would've went with 15,498.
