I'd be Fan 8 by this point. In a couple years when Haruhi is on another 3 year haitus, we'll all be looking back at this and laughing if we haven't gone delightfully insane because of the lackage of Novel 10

Actually, I don't think that we will get disappearance in this 2nd season at all. And I doubt that this week endless eight will end. Probably next week will end.

According to this page: http://cal.syoboi.jp/tid/1639, Teletama delayed the airing of Haruhi by 30 minutes for the next three weeks (25:30 instead of 25:00); there may also be delays on Sun TV (normal airing time: 24:40, in 15 minutes).

ETA: There are no threads on 2chan (yet).

It's an interesting decision to make though. I was under the impression that TV timeslots aren't really that flexible, as it IS paid airtime.

They aren't "flexible". This is basically the station switching over from nationwide TV to informertial time so if the nationwide broadcasts are late, the infomertials start late too.
