Hmm I don't think any of us(or the show for that matter) called him a genius.

I think the word is "competent" and "capable"

He's a hero for sure like many others in history but nowhere near Julius Caesar or Napoleon.

I think the right words that people are looking for in regards to Welkin are "Unorthodox" and "Capable". Who else would think of searching for animal dung to give his troops an advantage?

I didn't play the game but i think that they should introduce more the others characters and make more Action/War in the anime . Well , maybe they want to put more romance .
