Well, Ayasaki Hermione was quite popular. And it isn't as if fans are completely against these types of things. Traps (and mangas about them) are getting more and more popular.

I think poor Kotetsu deserves a chance.

Ah, I remembered that Maria had promised to dress Hayate and Kotetsu in maid outfit. That one, I should wait for. Hata certainly didn't forget that. Maria was picking uniforms for them when Hayate returned from Segawa's house. We'll see what we'll get.

Nah. that can't be possible. Even though HnG is random, it can't be that random. Besides... it's mostly boys who read this series, so Hata would get blocked by his editors first. Which is a pity, because it'd make quite a scene.

I feel like supporting that happening for the lulz.

Kotetsu+Hayate happens, then all girls go berserk (Athena not spared )

But yeah, I know the series won't be that crazy. In fact, this arc is one of the times I see HnY going into serious plot.

Oh, I forgot about Kotetsu.

Then THIS is how it will roll down:

- Chapter starts with Kotetsu taking pics of trains
- Kotetsu gets angry at himself for prioritizing taking pics of trains over heading over heading to Greece to where Hayate is
- Chapter returns to Hayate, who is moping around the town at night
- Hayate makes it back very late and exhausted, sleeps in for half the day
- Maria wakes up Hayate because he's been sleeping the day away and asks him about his date with Hina
- Hayate suddenly wakes up, having forgotten about it
- Hayate and Hina meet up at the restaurant
- After the two get their seat, Hayate notices something weird about one of the other customers but can only some of her from behind (her hair has a ribbon like A-tan does), Machina is sitting opposite of her
- Hayate tries to hide behind his menu, but Machina notices him
- Machina doesn't tell A-tan that Hayate is behind him
- Hina asks why Hayate is acting all strange, and then looks behind her and sees A-tan
- Hina, surprised, stands up and goes to greet A-tan
- A-tan turns around and sees Hayate, then immediately gets up
- Machina gets up as well, and poises himself for battle
- Just as all hell is about to break loose, Kotetsu comes barging into the restaurant screaming "I FINALLY FOUND YOU, AYASAKI, MY LOVER! OH HOW I MISSED YOU!"
- Chapter end.

Hey i just realized something after reading chap 233.

Athena has a picture of hayate, doesn't she. Could that be the reason why she dreamt about him?
Also, since she knows that she will meet hayate, could it be possible that she planned to say that she doesn't know who hayate is all this time?

I just tired that the writer to drag the whole things longer than ever..

It is like it had been forever for Athena and Hayate to meet each other...and guess what? Hayate just got kicked out before saying anything ...and we have to wait for next reunion...

Is Hayate really helpless when he's sad and gloomy? I think he'll come back to his senses easily when one of his friends are threatened. And I doubt he'll lose again.

Dream scenarios? Here's mine to join in the wagon.

• They go to Parthenon the next day, since it's a tourist spot.
• The girls play the King's game again, orders Hayate to wear his bunny suit again
• Coincidentally Athena and Machina are taking the morning stroll nearby
• Seeing the Blue Haired butler, Machina sees this as an opportunity to acquire the gem
• Machina loses his chance when he sees this blue haired butler was actually a very cute blue haired girl/trap in a bunny suit, he blushes and is startled.
• Hayate, recognizing Machina sees this as a chance for payback and screams "pervert!" and kicks him so hard that he falls down endlessly from Parthenon (since it's atop a hill).
• Athena, seeing Hayate in his attire looked O.O

Anyway that's what I just want to happen now, hey we can plug Kotetsu somewhere here as well.

Due to all the hanging plot elements and characters to deal with, it isn't too surprising for lack of Maria development unfortunately.

Hayate, on the way back to the mansion, meets Hakuo trio. They try to cheer Hayate up, but it doesn't work since he is shocked by the fact that Athena didn't remember him. Hayate asks them about who is Athena.

Athena was the best genius they had in Hakuo and her wealth was equal to Sanzenins, so the only person who could talk to her as an equal was Hinagiku. After they exchanged their email addresses, they got close, but when Hina tried to give her a nickname 'A-tan', Athena became cold, saying that 'No one calls me by that name anymore' and they didn't really get on well afterwards.

Hearing this, Hayate becomes certain that Athena still remembers him.

Hakou uniform + A-tan ..... trying to imagine.....= nosebleeds.

This is a great chapter. Its a total win it didn't just let hayate know A-tan still remembers him. We even get hina and a-tan together.
