Actually, that linked picture is perfectly fine by AS standards (PG-13 no "naughty bits") but --

@ Starburst: you need to label it properly (e.g. tastefully nude Horo) and it should be labeled "NSFW"....

I thought I did label it properly. Are NWS/NSFW not interchangable?

NWS... I had to look that up.... almost every one I read uses NSFW ... but some explanation of the link led to would have been nice. Not a big deal though... I just wanted mostly to explain it was 'legal' by AS forum rules if not necessarily something your boss should see.

I explained the link with the sentence "Kouda Tomohiro's fanart rendition of Horo though is rather appealing as well." I should have just linked a part of the sentence with (NWS) attached, but it didn't occur to me at the time.

Something I felt like doing after watching the first episode of season 2.

<-- Work in progress!

And while I was at it, I also decided to add a few extra things:

<-- Work in progress!

Hope I got the tail right... >_<

Still missing the legs!

EDIT:

I suppose I could also leave this one here.

<-- Work in progress!

Wow, this image is pretty spot on with the character designs of the anime, though still with it's own style.

The artists pixiv page for anyone interested.

Thanks for the comment. With a bit of luck, I'll be able to actually finish the trace this time around.

Seriously wish I had a reference for the legs, though. >_<

Sorry about the double post, it's been a couple of days already and I want people to notice this. >_<

Never managed to get the legs right, so I chopped the tail and kept the original view of the source pic.

I have never taken a lesson in graphic arts. I just read a tut one day and started from that. At the end of the day, tracing is something anyone can pick up without previous knowledge.

Also, I was reading Jason's blog a minute ago and saw this two pics:

I checked all the way back to late 2008 in this thread and didn't see them. Hope they are not reposts, although I do get a bit of Deja-vu from the Haruhi one.

Probably because of the avatar I made out that one!

Late 2008? Did you make it to July?

No, I think I only went as far as late November.

And I knew I had seen that image before.

oh i get it now.. Lawance is actually Soup MacTavish undercover. Brilliant! *And I guess these are those Christianic Crusaders that tries to systematically whipe Horo's race from existance. "Good work, Soup."

Soup: We have the package.
