I have lurked around the forum for a while when i want to find pictures because the picture threads here are great for wallpapers haha. I have now signed up because I wanted to contribute a bit and I have just learned how to make gifs so ill probably hang around in some of the avatar threads for shows I like.

I came here looking for discussion on Umineko. I decided this looks like a great place, and hopefully i can kidnap the time of some japanese speaking people to help me with my self study. So in conclusion, what is really good yall?

Wussup people? I'm new here - name is Aya (not mah full name - short nickname given to me by multiple people online and in real life), and I'm 1/4 Korean on my dad's side, and my mom is 3/4 Japanese... -too lazy to do the math- I speak both Japanese and English pretty fluently, and am at the moment learning Korean. I've been -cough- stalking this site for a while now (mainly for image/music threads) for various shows (is a major otaku... =w=), and I decided "Hey, why the heck not?" and signed up for an account. I'm mainly into the horror/mystery genre, but I have quite a few romance/comdedies that are on my top 10 list. I've written a good fanfic or two in my time... but I don't think this is the place to discuss my mediocre literary skills. ;P Wish I could write more, but then I'd seem a bit conceited... >-< Looking forward to an enjoyable experience here~!

Hey there.

Gosh i'm really bad with introduction- or at least... I think so. Ok... So let me start with the basics at least:

I'm Nikusu-chan and i'm using my cellphone to send this message all the way from South Africa. Yes, down here where we drive on the left side of if road, where 20°C is considered nice weather and you surely heard... We got Mandela. ^_^

I really came here at first because of the two Avatar threads that caught my attention- The one is the tutorial (which i'm kinda getting confused at), and the 'request an Avatar' thread. I can't go see what the actual names of the threads are while i'm typing this message, sorry.

I'm still getting used to the layout of this forum, but there's so much more info here than what's allowed on other forums, so i think i'll stay.

I can't be too picky about where and when i get Anime, so i have small, but fairly leveled genre list. (Mostly Cyberpunk... But there's comedy, slice-of-life, horror, drama and ghibli too.)

Since i don't a normal internet line, i can't download stuff yet, but i hope that'll change next year.

I hope to make friends here and just have a good time.

I'm basically new here - I'm a huge lurker, particularly in the Higurashi/Umineko forums, but I'm going to try to post more. When school starts up again, though, I have a feeling I might go back to lurking.

This is a really great forum that I've enjoyed reading for quite awhile now, so I decided I might as well join in on the fun! I'm sure I'll have a good time here. Nice to meet everyone!
