Mahou Sensei Negima, it's obvious about magic.
Here's the description :
Ten-year-old prodigy Negi Springfield, has just graduated from magic academy. He dreams of becoming a master wizard. Instead he's sent to Japan to teach English…at an all-girls high school! All the students are delighted with their cute new teacher - except for Asuna, who resents Negi for replacing the teacher she secretly has a crush on.
Although he is forbidden to display his magical powers, sometimes Negi can't resist. And when Asuna discovers Negi's secret, she vows to make his life as difficult as possible - just the thing to prepare Negi for the challenges of life as a master wizard.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Elfen Lied. It's definitely ecchi.... It's semi-harem, and if you can get over the excessive gore (not as bad in the manga), then it's really enjoyable.

yes u should read "My Balls" it is funny and awrsome plus it is also kinda a harem, and yes it looks like a hentai that they justed whited out some small parts but its hilarious and has a very good story to go along with it, and around every corner theres somethin new it is somethin i would always reccommend

Been watching a rather unique harem lately.

Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maō

It's about a magician named Akuto Sai who transfers into the Constant Academy for Magic Arts, hoping to become a High Priest and help the world. However the school makes each student take a test to determine their future career. Upon taking it, Akuto is predicted to become a Demon Lord. So the government sends an android named Korone to observe him as he has yet to fully control his overwhelming power. So most of the school is against him, thinking he'll destroy the world where some wish to seduce him into joining them. A bit different than the usual harem in the sense that Akuto Sai is a lot stronger than the girls who are around him.
