I was speaking about the kinda of the uniform, actually.Here, students just weara T-shirt with the name of their school, that is why to me is ridiculous have to wear anything so fancy to go to school (my little brother, however, study in a old fashioned school that use a more traditional uniform. Even they don't use suits, however, just a social shirt).

I still like my theory that initially, Asakura was confessing feelings of love, but that was changed when a certain godlike being got upset with the relationship.

I was over there last year and didn't see any sailor uniforms. The ones I saw were more along the lines of stereotypical Catholic School uniforms. Then again, I didn't spend much in town around the time students would be heading home. But that just goes to support the "the don't like wearing that kind of uniform" idea.

This is amazingly good stuff. The drawing style rather reminds me of [ishoujo[/i] manga; Kyonko is so wide-eyed and vulnerable-looking. ^^ Haruhiko, meanwhile, has more than a little of the action hero about him. His coat is practically a cape!

Haven't you noticed that in allot of Shoujo? With the exception of the pretty boy traits, the male leads are often actually drawn in a pretty masculine fashion? Compare to shonen series which ussually have pretty boyish leads.

Weird.

But I definitely like this kind of style. Like you said it evokes a vulnerable look from Kyonko, especially when she's standing next to the rather butch Haruki. This is generally how I imagine the two characters looking next to each other.

Of course Haruki doing something vindictive like this nicely plays into what Yuuki did for disappearances. Two guys going over eachothers heads for the girl is bound to create a massive pissing contest.


...though I think the most hilarious version is the one where Tsuruya doesn't show up until everyone is back at the club room with sleeping Kyonko, he finds it hilarious, throws his jacket on top of her laughing, thus prompting everyone present to toss their jackets/cardigans on Kyonko.

Figured it was obvious Kyonko's line was mimicking Meowth("Meowth, that's right!"), but Kyon's line is based on this:

Wobbuffet's name is a combination of wobble and buffet, meaning to strike repeatedly, possibly referring to its action of slapping its own forehead. Its Japanese name is homophonous with the interjection そうなんす sō na-n-su, which roughly means "that's the way it is."
