I'll actually be fairly surprised if this doesn't get a third season... but it may be deferred until the light novel series comes to a close (Toradora! style). A 3rd and 4th season would be mind-blowing (so rare in anime). The author seems to have a lot of stories to tell so its hard to say.

Well, that proved to be an enjoyable episode. The banter was still fun and it looks like the arrangement between those old men, Fruhl, and Lawrence might actually yield quite a bit of profit. But the aspect that makes the next episode a must-watch is to see how the salt factors into all this and how the rebellion will change matters. As I remarked someplace else, if there's anything merchants hate, it's political instability.

Other than that, the background they provided for Fruhl was interesting in that it gives a brief window into her motivations.

Where's EP12 thread? The episode is so damn epic. Will be waiting for 3rd season.

And yes - I applaud to the one who is responsible for the last 30 seconds of the episode. Awesome, just awesome
