Nat

Well I am not new to BT been using it for 2 years ++ now...

First I should say my computer specs...

Motorola Cable Modem SB5100
Netgear Wireless Router MR814 v1
Netgear Adapter MA101
My main computer is old but it has control of the router and connected through a wire
My newer computer is good.. and is connected through Wireless (MA101)

Old computer - 700MhZ 256 ram
New Computer 2.6Ghz(AMD Althon XP)
512 ram and some other stuff not that important....

Well i am behind teh router, Singaporean, using MaxOnline 3000

Currently my older computer (used by my brother) can use Azureus....
While my newer one can't ,it gave me "Testing port 60881..... NAT Error"
I have did some configurations like port fowarding

All my downloads are red and also at the start of Azureus it tells me 6969 tracker port can;t be established.... Check to see if other programs are using it
I dunno what is this..but its a problem i don't wanna see
I got this problem(NAT Error) after i went to upgrade my driver
with MR814 v2 driver instead of the MR814 v1 driver

Yes ... Stupidity... i am... sooo baka....

It was stuck during the upgrade so i closed it and went to check and OMFG myself..... then i fixed it by getting the correct upgrade and more OMFG with the "NO ANIME FOR U" says god...

I really wanna get this fixed no anime for 2 weeks and missing Naruto so MUCH ........
Help much appreciated

I take it you know how to configure the router. So that's what you'll have to do (if not, find out your router's IP (www.whatismyip.com) and type in into the address bar of your internet browser. This will take you to the configuration):

In Configuration:Tracker uncheck Enable tracker on HTTP port. This will fix the 6969 port error message. If you don't want to use Azureus as a tracker but as a client only there is no need to open port 6969.

Next step:
In Configuration:Plugins:UPnP make sure that Enable UPnP is checked. Then enabke UPnP in the router configuration as well.

-or-

Forward all incoming data from port 6881 to your IP in the router configuration (to see your real IP: Start menu-->Run-->cmd-->ipconfig)

You can still find my Azureus Download Guide here

By all means, make sure to read this.

This came out when i typed in the IP given from www.whatismyip.com

Unchecked Enable tracker on HTTP port

For me UpNp is weird and i dun seem to be able to get it to work
My router has Upnp there on its configurations but Azureus gave me an error saying smt like Unable to establish Incoming Peer data port server or smt like that

I will try to solve it(check the Port Fowarding page with the ports) when my brother comes back(hes older and has the password to router so i can't do anything)
BTW if u r wondering why i get to use the new computer its not cause of brotherly love =P its a reward from my parents...

IP B -New Computer
IP C -Old Computer

6881-6889 ------ IP C

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Glad that it worked, but you only need to open port 6881 if you want to stick using Azureus only.

Yes, all incoming connections come through the same port on Azureus.

If you want, you can forward incoming BitTorrent Connections though port 80 (the port for HTTP).

Will there be any benifit? It's unlikely; most ISP's don't care enough about BitTorrent enough to screw with it's ports. However, I guess anything is possible these days. You can just try it and see if you want.

The port used is defined in: Configuratoin > Server
