Romance with action suggestions plz

Konnichiwa mina (hello everyone) ^_^

There aren't many animes these days to keep me entertained. I've watched shakugan no shana, zero no tsukaima, special a and the ones that keeps me interested are the ones that have romance with action. It sounds really odd coming from a guy. I know, right? but seriously. I've started watching gundam 00 seed destiny (classic mech anime) and that has got to be one with romance going on between Athrun and Cagalli. I'm not hardcore with very cute romance with no/barely action at all as that would kill it for me.
I would like to hear from those that have suggestions and thanks to everyone who helps.

I think you should give Kaze no Stigma a go.

Oh yeah, there's nothing wrong with a guy liking a bit of romance .

Inuyasha (gets a lot of hate, but I rather liked it. I actually just found out today that there is a sequel and it starts tomorrow, lol)
Seikai no Monshou (not a lot of wtfpwn action, but good characters)
Gunparade March (after the tedious first ep it wasn't bad)

Be warned though, Saikano is really depressing. Not recommended for the faint of heart or hopeless romantics, as it will crush your emotions mercilessly.

Yeah... FSN had similar effects on me too >.< But still they are worth it

lol I also watched inu-yasha. It's kinda has the "hate it" or "love it" theme. I've watched several episodes from season one but sadly I ain't getting the inuyasha and kagome love theme with some of the most lifeless battle scenes.

ah thanks for the tips. Unfortunately I heard of the animes called FSN, FMP, and Tsubasa Chronicles. FSN was epicly appealing and has the epic fighting scenes with saber and archer. FMP had an exciting music intro that blew my mind off and it had the tension between the protaganist and antaganist. Tsubasa Chronicle was kinda iffy, I found the story to be quite boring and the characters didn't really shine until Tsubasa Shunraiki. On the other hand, The other titles looks promising. Thanks again.

Any thoughts on Kara no Kyoukai as a worthy contender? Plenty of action in there and the budding relationship between Shiki and Mikiya makes for a nice mix.

Have you watched the sequel seasons to Full Metal Panic?

I guess there is also Chrome Shelled Regios.

Ranma 1/2 is more of the comedic side of a romantic action farce. (I like to think of it as an endless recursion of "Much Ado About Nothing" combined with repeated loops of "Taming of the Shrew")

I don't know if you've seen Fullmetal Alchemist, but FMA: Brotherhood is likely to have more romance side plot. Still mainly action though.
