Unlicensed like Masterforce... Headmasters is actually the series before Masterforce and is a direct sequel to the Transformers series that aired in America.

There seem to be some license issues. Currently trying to get hold of the one who marked it as licensed.

That's cool. But who ever marked it as licsened marked it wrong. Headmasters,Masterforce,Victory,Zone,Beast wars the 2nd and Beast wars neo are not licsened

Any updates to this? I'd like to get the release listed.

If you look around it's only ever been rumoured to be released by Rhino Home Video (It was a part of their poll for next Transformers DVD release) but they have since said they have no future plans to release any of the Japanese Exclusive series in R1.

Yes. There are dubs of these series.... Dubs so sad they make children cry. They only ever aired in Malaysia/Singapore/Parts of Australia and were never aired in America.

So it's "less licensed" than Gundam ^_~

That's all I found myself too so they are added for now. If anyone else knows anything about the "license status" please let us know

well, i bought headmasters eps on DVD here in UK, so i guess it's licensed here?
the DVDs were readily available last time i checked...

Could you provide some links (to, say amazon.co.uk or somesuch). I found something called Transformers - Takara [1986] which seems to be a bastardisation of the fourth series (The Headmasters) but that all (haven't had a chance to investigate a lot yet). Ta.

yeah, it was that
it may use the victory OP but it's still headmasters, but since other stuff licensed over here makes it's way up on suki, i guess it doesnt matter, i guess these DVDs are uber changed anyway
