Those guys in the middle are suppose to be Oshino and the vampire hunters. Clearly the artist didn't base his drawings on the anime character designs for those guys.

the kanji over the vampire hunter indicate they are some kind of early concept forms first pictured in the artist's mind.
the kanji under koyomi and karen says " brother & sister Gatai!"

Shinobu is quite tall at the age of 27... I can't really decipher the text but is the sword she's holding over 2m?
