Akemiya was so win this episode. i felt so bad for him, yet he was just so good this ep. also, Kiyori's straight up rejection was amazing too.

First, I apologize for the double post. But my post is relevant.

Episode five was fun, but the standout star has to be the octopus. Little guy didn't know what he was getting into. Though he sort of got back by making Miyako and Ushio look like Ziggy Stardust. Also, spontaneous explosions.

The music placement for this series just keeps on getting better and better. Because of it, i enjoyed episode five lots more then i did in the manga. This is gonna be one of those adaptations that out does the source material, though i just hope we don't see any anime original material towards the end.

Whereas I hope we DO see some - preferably a resolution to the main issue the series is about

Though I suppose not resolving it would be an argument in favor of a second season, and I'd certainly enjoy that as well!

So would I, but I suspect that only happens if we get a second season. If there's going to only be 1, then I'd prefer to see the Happily Ever After ending. But that's just ME.

agreed. as long as they stay faithful for most of the manga if in the end they want to give us some closure by giving an original ending... as long as it's a happy ending then l'm fine with it. lt's better then waiting for a second that is if they even plan on a second season...

Surprisingly hilarious 5th episode with the use of classic yuri humor. It's actually a very nice look at Kazama's home life and why she's what she is. She of course by now is the practical polar opposite of Sumika.

Opposite's attract, perhaps?

i was going to come in here and rant about how that short other girl was completely insensitive and irritating, but then i was like nah.

i was really expecting some more drama from this show compared to what we're getting. i thought the show was to revolve around how Sumi handles herself while Kazama goes around and does her thing. the potential is there for a lot of heartbreak and drama, like the first episode, but there hasn't been much of that recently. i'll keep watching cause the show is entertaining, but if the show does veer from that direction, i'll be disappointed.

What a great cast of characters in this show: Sumi, Ushio, Kiyori, Masaki, Miyako, Tomoe -- all good characters and good people, really. Even the bug-crusher. And well voiced.
