Hamazura Shiage is the Level 0 who defeated Mugino. Don't go thinking he's like Touma, he just shot her. You can see him in

with Rikuo. The reason Aleister wants him dead is probably because he's a Level 0 Drop-out who defeated Mugino, a Level 5.

I do hope they survive the Mugino encounter in that picture though, I like them.

they will survive for sure. Because even if the iron clad hero is in foreign country I do hope that the dark hero will rampage that ugly monster.

While unable to read myself, I've heard around that he timed his shot to hit her in the arm when her ability was in effect, causing a chain-reaction resulting in an explosion.

Is the guy next to Accelerator in the volume cover He is a level 0 he doesn't have any abilities, only uses a gun... looks like Aleister only allowed Touma to defeat a certain Lvl.5 only one time, since then things changed a lot.

I glad Mugino is still alive but the fact she became... that makes wish the person who did that to her was dead or in horrible pain. Since it looks 2 members of ITEM are still alive i hope they bring back the rest of ITEM since i like those girls. Bring them all back! I don't care if they have use Heaven C. too cure them, clone them, use magic or a resurrection spell. BRING TEAM ITEM back alive!!!.... and hopefully good looking too.

Everything has been according to Alister's plan, until Hamatzura kicks in.

Huh since when? Aleister wanted to create a lvl 6 using the calculations of the tree diagram and Touma interupted the whole proces by beating Accelator.

What was the purpose of creating the sisters and stuff if this has been all part of his plan?

well that's kinda hard to swallow. Was it really obvious to him that Touma would win the fight? I mean Touma barely survived that one, if not for the sisters intervention he would have been dead. lol maybe he can see the future or something....

from what I can tell, it does look as if this particular story arc may be wrapping up. However, the novels overall, I don't think so. Apparently the new guidebook that was just released at the same time as vol 5 of the manga includes an interview with the author which mentions Mikoto having "a large role in the story soon" with regards to the novels.

Now there's some arguing over on 2ch about exactly when "soon" is, but personally, I can't see her being involved in this part of the story all of the sudden. So for me, I think a likely outcome is kicking off a new major science side arc centered around Touma rather than Accelerator after this arc is done.

And honestly, there have been a number of science side concepts and characters the author has introduced but barely touched on that probably should be dealt with.

I agree this point the author can't suddenly involve her in the plot magic vs science... maybe Mikoto can involve in some troubles with the uknown 6th level 5 or the 5th level 5, Shinri Shouaku "Mental Out", but until now I can't see her more from that.

About the magic side looks like he isn't the last stand of the troubles.

That's the point, if it is so hard to swallow, no one would realize it is a part of a plan. Alister is making a extremly public move through this, so it has to be as hard to read as possible.

With the lv.6 evolution experiment got terminated, Academy City become responsible in prolonging the life of the remianing Sisters. To do so, Academy sends Sisters to various medical insitutue across the globe to conduct research in extending their life. THIS, is what Alister really wants. How to send Sisters across the world without being suspicous? Everyone would knowAlister is up to no good if eh just make ten thousand Misaka clones and scatter them out. He he pull out this entire lv.6 evolution experiment just so he can make an excuse out of it to send the Sisters out.
Why he needs to send the Sisters out? Sisters literally are transmitting stations for AIM Field, and now they are all across the world, AIM's effective radius now covers the entire earth, which is a crucial part in Alister's plan in eliminating all magics.

He is DRAGON, but he might not be the final or the only model of Dragon. He has the poewr of the Egyptian god Horus, and with the little hints we have from the Book of Law (Alister's text book on annhilating Christinatity), we might see more models that has the power of other Egyptian gods.

Eiwas is an manifetsation of AIM like Artificial Angel Huze=Kazakiri. No, I should say Huze=Kazakiri is a mere tool to produce Eiwas, which is an even higher existence. Eiwas by being an existence even higher than Huze=Kazakiri means he is extremly powerful, packed with Alister's special programe, not even Accelerator can beat him.... that's an understatement; Eiwas wasted Accelerator without breaking a single sweat.

Also, like how Last Order fell into a coma when Huze=Kazakiri was manifested, she is stuck in coma again as long as Eiwas exists. (Last Order is the commanding device to AIM, and when AIM is manifesting entities like Huze=Kazakiri and Eiwas, Last Order is heavily burdened).

Eiwas then taunts Accelerator by telling him inorder to wake up Last Order, he needs Index. So Accelerator sets off to Russia to find her.

Of course, I believe we all see where this is going right? Alister is trying to kill 2 birds with 1 stone here. By having Eiwas lures Accelerator to Russia, Accelerator would inevitabelly confronts Fianma for the ownership of Index. This would mean 1. Accelerator gets another chance to invlve fighting a powerful oppoent and 2. evolved Accelerator is going to get rid off Fianma who is an obstacle to Alister's plan.

But of course, Hamatzura, the true uncertainty to Alister's plan is still around. EVERYTHING has been occuring to Alister's precise calculations down to the very last decimal..... until Hamatzura failed to die in vol.15, which is something that should not have happened. Things are slowly going out of plan with Hamatzura around, so Alister is going all out to purge him, which isn't succesful. And I can already imagine how Alister horrified at the fact that Hamatzura is also on the way to Russia, when he just set Accelerator up against Fianma.

So, Vol.20 is not just going to be a mess, but a total mess.
