For those who haven't check out the site yet (or this could be a newer update) they have pictures of who I assume are the main characters and there are 13 currently up. Yup, feels like like Baccano here (and the motorcycle rider with the the cat/fox ear helmet amuses me, obligatory crazy character?).

2009 hasn't been a great year in terms of anime . But this is the show that will change all that . Premise and story at least by summary seems very interesting/promising and coming from the Baccano team have really high hopes : )

Just finished watching it. There's a good amount of new animation, plus voices. Mikado sounds more high pitched than I was expecting though... Looks like they're going for the "everyone is shaded gray except for the main characters" look.
I rewatched OnoD's part at the end 5 times over.  /slaps selfAnd FukuJun needs to cut his hair, seriously.

This looks like it's going to be a rather faithful adaptation, still watching that trailer but the only impression right now is that dumb joke from Kida's even colder when watching it than reading it ...
Only complaint is that "She" is a lot cooler and less intimidating than when reading the novel (and I expected her outline to be a bit more blurred). EDIT: Ok, finished watching it, Shinra's VA's hilarious (durararararararara lololololol). And I just realize "She" doesn't have a VA, which will be interesting to get used to since we lose her perspective that we get from the novel.
