Weird. I fired up a seed on my copy of 41-44, and I'm only at 92.5% myself!

Hopefully we'll be able to make a full copy between us.

Thank you so much for the help on Akage no Anne 41-44 and Akage no Anne 49-50. I finally got them. But I am still having trouble getting Akage no Anne 45-48 and I don't understand why. I see that there is a seed for it, but I am not downloading anything. I have been stuck at 77.82 % for a couple days now. Can someone explain to me why its not downloading at all when I see a seed there for it? Can someone else add a seed to see if that will help? I am uploading to others with it, so that part is working fine.

Seeding 45-48 now

I was seeding Bt'X, but after seeing 40 people get theirs and then drop out leaving it unseeded again, I got fed up. :fingers:

I hadn't realized akage no anne was by Takahata and Miyazaki... a few days ago I saw the dvd box set (It's licensed in Korea, but only with Korean subs) and took a look at the art and thought "hmmm, looks familiar."

So i downloaded the first 4 episodes, and they're rather impressive (especially as, being canadian, i've grown up with lucy maud montgomery's stories on tv).
But... (you know where this is going) -

I'm seeding 17-20 and 29-32 at the moment , but everything else (besides 1-4) is seedless. I hadn't planned to download it out of order, but a seed would dry up, I'd start on another later torrent that did have a seed, and >poof< that seed would soon disappear...

I'm at 83% on 41-44 , 98% on 5-8 and 63% on 13-16
(though every torrent has at least 1 or 2 peers.

If someone could help out not only would I be grateful, I'll actually seed them when i finish.

I know everyone is probably getting tired from hearing from me, but I am once again stuck with Akage no Anne 45-48 at 84.76 %. PixyMisa, you have been awesome in helping everyone with reseeding, but I guess people will drop the seed once they complete theirs. I hope you will reseed it again for me so that I can complete this. If not I understand and hope someone else will.

Matt74: I have reseeded 41-44 , 5-8 and 13-16 for you. I will be a bit slow due to having to limit bandwith since I have to share it with a business. But I will leave them running for you. Let me know when you get them complete.

Other people seem to have also taken up the cause, so thanks to you seeders as well. Hopefully there will be a few reliable seeds to pass the torch onto...

Seeding now. Might be a bit slow because I'm downloading Seasons 0 and 1 of MST3K at the same time

(22GB of cheesy movies!)

Akage no Anne is a series that is perpetually running out of seeds. A search shows 24 re-seeding threads for it so far this year.

I think a lot of the problem is that it's broken up into 13 small torrents. If someone repackaged it as, say 5 packs of 10, it might work better. Or one pack of 5 and three of 15. Or something

Thanks PixyMisa (and thanks again Linsilee). Everything is seeded at the moment, and things are moving along well.

I'd agree with making larger torrents - they tend to perpetuate themselves, as they take so long to download you can't help but seed for awhile. If they appeared, I'd definitely help seed.
(Also, by replacing the old 4 episode torrents, the people who have some of the episode packs would have to move them into a new, say, 10 episode folder, and would then also be helping to seed the new torrents.)
