It was nice to see "The Blind Alchemist" animated and I was wondering if there was an actual news report talking about other OVAs? The only other thing they could adapt would be Izumi's training I think, but I would love to see that as well.

The Blind Alchemist OVA was better than I thought it'd be. It was quite shocking and impactful. I liked it a lot.

I heard they're going to adapt the Simple People story into an OAV... I suppose they're going to lengthen it a bit though.

I'd be sooo happy if that happens!

It was nice seeing this animated, I really enjoyed it. The animation was top-notch, Ed's expressions kept me glued the whole time, I loved it. In the end, when Ed said, "but no one was saved." ahhh, that sent chills down my spine!

Actually it wasn't that suprising... did you really expect for human transmutation to work?

I was more suprised that they had kept the real one and who had smiled.

Well I do admit that I didn't expect for girl to tell it herself and actually to show the real body.

I must admit that after begining where everyone were glaring at Ed, I was expecting someone to attack them in that room.

The Gaiden Simple People has been animated. It was well done(watched it raw.) If I had to rate the ova it would be 9/10.

EDIT: Found it! Haha, it was really good! The animation was awesome and it had me laughing out loud a few times.

Just watched "The Blind Alchemist", and it was fantastic. A poweful story, and a genuinely surprising and shocking plot twist that really awed me.

Rarely do I see so much conveyed in so little time. Great stuff.

His determination to bring back his master's daughter, and how he became blinded once paying the price beyond the Gate. Spoiler: Unfortunately, barely humanoid speck of Rosalie returned or maybe was somebody else. The master and his wife could not blame or curse Judeau once witnessing that his Human Transmutation failed, because both of them felt for themselves how determined and dedicated he was for the deceased Rosalie. Judeau put all his effort, his mind, and bearing the price of the sin he committed to restore hope back to his masters. The master and his wife out of a sense of compassion obliged to seal the Truth so as to keep firm within Judeau's heart that his human transmutation succeeded. Thus, Amy was found to take upon Rosalie's place in her stead. Amy occassionally resents to be viewed as Rosalie's replacement through the eyes of Lady Hamburgang from time to time, but she remained grateful that she was taken into the manor for a better life than the dreary one she had previously at the orphanage. This story brought tears on me, particularly when I watched Amy tended the hair of the "person" that used to be Rosalie, though this returned person has been properly cared and treated, hence, being able to lead a more viable and adequate existence rather than those brought back by other alchemists in the past and the present.

amjzz Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007	I saw the second OVA: Simple people. It was very good. Just was 12 minutes. A little summary. Spoiler for OVA 2: A good mix of manga stuff and filler. So the earrings that winry uses are a gift from ed, that was unexpected. Winry decided to wear earrings after see hawkeye use them and hawkeye decided to let her hair grow because she saw winry with long hair.
