Thanks for the pics MrTerrorist
Especialy the last one. Misaka ftw That looks incredibly cute.
I believe will see some really great plot development next time. If they don't do something stupid with it it will probably be the best episode so far.
Wohoo Index meets Railgun.

I think this action is a solid enough argument. So, no more unknown terms from the manga and novels.

Thanks, Clarste!

I thought this part was already been shown!
I read the railgun manga a few days ago and now I'm mixing the manga's story with the one from the anime.

Now, I'm sure the next episode will be nice and even more cool, because ToumaxBiribiri is awesome!

I'd be shocked extremely surprised if Mikoto didn't end up pulling this stunt multiple times.

Seven episodes in and I'm completely hooked. Time to go check out Index while I wait for next week's episode of Railgun.

It's a very good thing to do

Index is more serious, but the plot is more scattered. This series focuses on Touma, which personality is very well depicted, and on what happens while he faces encumbered situations by his bad luck.

... Is it strange that most of us find Touma much better in this series, hmm?

I think it's already been established that we're seeing him through BiriBiri-Vision.

Besides, we're liking him for the reaction he effects.

I also noticed that he's somewhat of a Deadpan Snarker, and man I love these kinds of characters when they're done right, and he somehow did. Unfortunately there are much better Deadpan Snarkers than him... but not that it matters anyway.

I'm a little late this week.

Awesome episode! It had comedy, action, suspense, drama, more comedy, and Touma saving Biribiri.

Next episode looks to be a good one too.

I just can't believe it took 7 episodes before the Level Upper plotline began. =|

I started watching this series very excitedly, having loved the manga chapters so far scanlated, but started to lose a lot of interest when it was just random fanservice/comedy episodes and no sign of the Level Upper (except for a few small hints that would only be noticed by those who read the manga).

I think I stuck with it purely because the art is so pretty.

Good thing you did. The filler weren't exactly as boring as the Nanoha StrikerS filler...

I thought her vision just mutates everything to look... slightly different? Touma looks better, thugs look... stranger?

That's true, and the art has stayed very consistent throughout.

I really enjoy Mikoto as a character, but I'm still finding myself strongly preferring the Sisters arc of Index to anything that has happened yet in Railgun.

Manga Level Upper arc had Mikoto getting a lot of good Action Girl moments so hopefully we'll get to see all of that animated.

Though due to the low power of my only computer (a nearly 18 month old netbook) I'm having to follow Chihiro's 480p releases so I'm two episodes behind everyone else. =| HD is a crapshoot on this thing... plays Yuurisan's DtB encodes fine, but chokes and dies on the BSS ones and on Mazui's 720p Railgun releases.

I'm not sure if I should be bumping these ancient episode threads, but since this is my first time going through Railgun, and this particular episode really impressed me...

I have to say that I love how Touma is utilized in Railgun. He's like the perfect major recurring character in Railgun. You never know when or how he's going to show up, and he always has a significant impact on any episode he shows up in, spicing it up nicely. I particularly love how he tends to show up with completely no pomp and circumstance, completely out of nowhere. One second the episode is smoothly progressing along with out him, and the next second Mikoto sees Touma's reflection in the mirror while she's shopping for girl's pajamas of all things.

I also love how Touma continually exceeds Mikoto's expectations of him, just totally overcoming her cynicism. In his own show, I found him a bit goofy and silly, but here he comes across as this cool easy-going hero that's always in the right place at the right time with the right things to do and say.

This episode would have been Ok without him, but it was great due to him.
