Bandai must be high. Retail price $49.99 ?
Even brought down to $34.99 like it is right now, there's no way it's going to sell decently, especially as a blu-ray exclusive.

It's like Gunbuster/Diebuster movies all over again, worse.

Chiaki Kuriyama confirmed for Gundam UC theme song, Ryuusei no namida.

So, what's bullshit, now?

Especially since they don't really say interesting things.

You can "lol" all you want over the "ownage", but considering it took well over a month to post some sort of credible news brief, being speculative didn't put me in the wrong at all.

So why do people fight, anyway?
Perhaps the meaning of existence lies within their will to fight.
People feel a sense of accomplishment through battle.
And itís also a fact that the ones actually fighting are never perceived as being tainted.

No, you just implied that I threw "bullshit" for the lulz.
Your post is a nice and elegant way to admit that your comment towards me were totally improper and insulting.

Maybe because she's supposed to be known by the western audience, of which the boys were aroused by the seifuku-dressed violent girl...?

It's probably because every other idol has made a singing debut except for her. She's definately better at singing than Meisa Kuroki.

Let's hope sub version for those videos come out soon.

I don't really feel like focusing my energy on my ears to decipher what they're saying.

Have you watched Gigantic Formula or listened to the score? It has an extremely similar style due to the similar subgenre (mecha) and having the same composer, Sawano Hiroyuki. Epicness, I have to say.

The song is unimpressive, but I suppose that's to be expected from what seems like an effort in cashing in an idol and Gogo Yubari's international recognition.

Some PV3 screenshot here, but the video is still nowhere accessible:

Beats most idol songs clear and away as far as I'm concerned. Don't know about your experience but once you hear just how grating some of the idol songs can get a slow ballad like this starts to sound pretty damn good.

Clear and away? Not by far. Many songs sound like hers, and she doesn't have a good enough voice to stand out--so it sounds standard because the song itself has easy tunes. Well, at least she's not off-key.

As for experience, my first brush with Japanese songs is Mayumi Itsuwa's Kokoro no Tomo from the 80s (my dad loves it), but I've started listening to much J-music since 11 years ago. My favorite J-artist is Do As Infinity (with Dai Nagao... the new formation's not the same), and I also like Yui, Yuna Ito, Ken Hirai, Ayaka, Utada Hikaru, some but not all of Mika Nakashima and Ayumi Hamasaki's songs, L'Arc-en-Ciel, Maaya Sakamoto and Olivia Lufkin. Koda Kumi's music style isn't my cup of tea but she has a great voice and performance. I love Shiina Ringo very much, too, but admit that she's not for everyone.

I sometimes listen to seiyuu songs too and although most are so-so singers, Nana Mizuki, Megumi Nakajima, Yukana, Ayahi Takagaki, Fumiko Orikasa, Rie Tanaka, Ryoutarou Okiayu, Junichi Suwabe are among the good ones that I've heard. On the other side I wish Park Romi, MikiShin and Tomokazu Sugita would kindly step away from the song mike.

Even compared to contemporary anime OPs/EDs, Ryuusei no Namida is kinda forgettable.

Well I guess I'll just have to disagree then since almost as rule I can't stand your average female sung idol song these days and to have an exception to that rule in Ryuusei no Namida pretty much instantly makes the song memorable to me, or at least of note. I guess everything is relative eh.
