@Chaos2Frozen

So the fake Unabara Mitsuki's name isn't Quetzal? o.o

@Stab Sword

[Stab Sword] reminds me of Longinus's Spear, the same spear Longinus (presumed name) used to stab Jesus.

The actual name is Quetzal, which is nahuatl (the language used by the largest prehispanic civilization in Mexico) for "large feather". it is the name of an animal endemic to central and south american rainforests. more info here.

Apparently so. [Stab Sword] isn't the only weapon against Saints, but they all follow the same principle.

Saints in general are weak to attacks that resembles how [The Son of God] was killed. So forms of executions, getting stabbed by pinty objects, etc, all of them affect the Saints as a great deal. Aqua, being a double saint, is even more affected.

I wonder why Index compared Accelerator with a Saint.

Well, it's not really Accelerator himself, rather the Black wings that he has.

Accelerator's body is not exactly a normal body if you ask me, being used as a test object...

Thanks for the confirmation.

Did some look up after this. It seems Etzali is a type of stew that is cooked for the rain festival in the time of early June.

.....God, I can't resist the urge to call the guy "pea soup" now....

BTW, chaos2frozen, what Oriana used really isn't rune magic.

Read what I had post. Apparently the word Etzali indeed is the name of a type of Aztec stew made of corn and peas. The stew is made in early June, the tiem of the rain festival. The Aztec would carry the pot contaning the stew and walk around int he neighborhood, praying for the prosperity in the season.

Anyway, he has two books of Grimore right now, both belongs to the series of Calender Stone. One focus on the topic of "time related to life and death" and another is related to the topic "Rabbit and Moon".

For what they do

^ Reasons I came up with at the moment:

1. More rabbits than those creatures.
2. Easier to catch and use.

Rabbit parts usually use as a charm so maybe that's one of the reason. Plus their are maybe other things involve in rabbits. I'm not into occult stuff so I'm not sure.

It's not really occult but part of Aztec mythology as well. long story short, rabbits are also associated to the moon. (It is said that Quetzalcoatl, one of the most important gods of the aztec pantheon, imprinted the figure of a rabbit into the moon to honor one little rabbit which died for his sake).

Does that related to the myth that the gods had thrown rabbit on to the moon to make the moon less bright as it is getting too bright and surpassing the sun?

That is the myth the grimore is bassed on. And due the the factthat the rabbit is thrown tot he moon from earth, so the bullet shot can technically snip in between planets.

Wow, and here I am thinking that Etzali was some low-level Magician, I guess a grimoire or two can really up ones' power level.

Remember people, nothing in toaruverse is completely random, even their magic have some history to it. The "Rabbit and Moon" refers to one of two Aztec god/goddess. Metztli -Queen of the Night- she feared the sun because she feared its fire. Also referred to as the lowly god of worms who failed to sacrifice himself to become the sun, and became the moon instead, her face darkened by a rabbit.

The other god is Tecciztecatl -old moon god- he could have been the sun god, but he feared the sun's fire, so Nanahuatzin became the sun god and Tecciztecatl (in the form of a rabbit) was promptly thrown into the moon.

Spoiler:

As for why human bones can be subsitute...I'm going to assume maybe rabbits in Aztec myth can be used to symbolize humans? Or maybe something more scientific, like the two share similiar bone density.

Its not the first time, like the Vol.5, "Momotarou history".

I think its the same style behind the Idol theory.
