this series has really taken me by storm, this is the only series i can honestly say im addicted too
i wasnt much of an anime guy but this show really got me into it, now im taking in anime like a sponge

That's half the story, initally Index reacted immediately by attempting to bite TOuma again, but this time she missed and instead, kissed him on the cheek- And that's why she was shocked in this picture.

1) Did Black Wing Accelerator fought Fuse=Kazakiri? Cause that would be a fight I'll pay to see...

2) Who is this so called 'Demon-god' guy, and what's his story in the SS2?

His name is Aurrelus (not the same as the alchemist guy). Not sure if that's the correct English name, though. He almost became a demon god, but didn't. He can use the knowledge from a lot of grimoires.

He destroyed a human trafficking organization and saved a bunch of children.

During Academy City's gemstone "recall" ordeal, he snuck into Academy City. There, he fought some of the SISTERS as well as Sogiita Gunha. It was an easy win for Aurrelus.

At first, Misuzu appears to be in Academy City for research. There, she saw Touma and asked him to teach her how to get to a certain university.

However, her main purpose of coming to AC is to bring Mikoto out of AC, due to the events of 0930 and AC declaring war. Naturally, Aleister does not want his experiments leaving, so the higher ups hired Skill-Out to kill Misuzu.

Because of that, Misuzu was trapped in the university and ended up calling Touma for help. She didn't ask for Touma to come and save her, but being the "good" guy that Touma is, he came anyway.

On a side note, Accelerator was also caught up in that mess and helped save Misuzu too.

God demon.... isn't the translation "god mage"?.... you know magic is also understood as demonic arts so it could be a misnomer.

BTW I also have some questions:
1) How works Aurrelus magic?
2) What kind of powers has er.... Tori... Birdway??

and wasn't skill-out's leader killed by accelerator on aleister's orders in that novel too?

The war is about the problem about the conflicts between Academy City and RCC during the sports festival in the vol.9 and 10.

Well, it's "majin" in Japanese, and it's "demon god" when translated literally.

1) We know he has a magic called Hlidskjalf. However, how it works is unknown to us readers. It's described as "unexplainable".

The main thing that started the "war" is not the events in vol 9 and 10. It's the attack in vol 12 and 13.

The attack on AC is basically known by the public (not the full details, of course). After the attack, AC announced that the Roman Church is developing their own kind of esper powers called "magic", and that the attack was done by them.

On the other hand, the Roman Church acknowledges the existence of an "angel" in AC and that AC is carrying out developments that go against the beliefs of Christianity. This was also announced to the believers.

Naturally, after seeing such a serious security breach in AC and knowing that AC is going into conflict with such a large faction, parents are going to think twice about their kids' safety in AC.

That's why Misuzu wanted to take Mikoto away from AC.

It's not just Mikoto or Level 5's for that matter. AC is essentially a city that's made of students. If they allow one person to come and take their kid away, others will follow suit. As students start leaving, AC will start to lose its purpose and power. When students leave, the City will eventually fall apart. And we all know that AC is essentially one big experiment created by Aleister.

That's why they planned to kill Misuzu.

And you can't really say that Skill-Out's leader was killed, since the one who was killed was not Skill-Out's leader. Skill-Out refers to armed Level 0's in general and not a specific group. Komaba Ritoku was the leader of the group that Hamazura was in. Yes, Komaba Ritoku was killed by Accelerator. Yes, the same group (led by Hamazura, since Komaba was dead) was hired to kill Misuzu.

Actually, "demon god" is not a good way to put it. The novel has provided its explanation, instead of meaning the god of demon, it means the person who has overly master the magic and enter the realm of god.

As for Hliðskjálf, it is his power to change life energy and normal magical power into an unexplianble type of power. The power by its nature cannot be describe, can not be epxlained, and can not be comprehend.
Also, the actual Hliðskjálf (which is the thorne of Odin) does not have any offensive function, by focefully using Hliðskjálf in offence makes his power even more unepxlainable.
He uses Hliðskjálf due to the abilityof a god of magic is too special and can not be used with normal magical powers. In othwer word, he needs the unexplaiable energy produced by Hliðskjálf to actually perform his ability as a god of magic.
