And I stand by my contention that it's much more accurate to call Mikado the "founder" of Dollars - not the "leader". Viewed in that context, what could have been a credulity-testing plot twist was brought off quite believably in 10-11.

Agreed with the above. It's so nice to have a decisive, amiable and logical lead character with set of balls.

The only one up to par with Yagami is Lelouch.

Mikado being the creator of Dollars came as a huge surprise for me. Then again, it somehow makes sense. Dollars isn't a terrible gang, it's simply an anonymous group consists of people who avoid traditions and authority of all sorts. Still, I don't think Dollars will stop at that, it will continue to evolve. A group with no rule and no leader - it won't end up nice. Even 4chan has mods, you know.


Also, about Mikado, Masaomi, Dollars and Yellow Scarves:

It seems Dollars will have to clash with Yellow Scarves really soon, considering Yellow Scarves are trying to recruit Masaomi back and increasing their members. I don't ever want to see Mikado up against Masaomi. With Mikado being the manipulator behind Dollars and Masaomi being the Yellow Scarves leader, who knows how they will end up destroying each other.

Damn you, Izaya, I know you're behind all these messes, with that obsession over humanity and that Valkyrie theory of yours... and I still can't bring myself to hate you!

Well since Kida's Mikado's friend I think most likely he would try to stop that from happening since he is happy that he came to Ikebukuro in the first place and make him step out of his depression.

Haha I know that Izaya is the cause of this whole problem, since he's the one that messed up Kida's life and everything, and I do feel sorry for Kida but It just makes me love Izaya even more.

His special voice into was so bland it was fitting for him, made better by the fact whoever he was speaking to walked away. I... can't stop laughing at Mikado's cover song. I really can't XD. The cover does not help.

When I first saw Mikado, I thought he was the main character in general. But of course, in the Narita-verse, there never is a real main character.
