That's pretty rare indeed, most CP got 3~6 options for face/hair, perhaps a few for skin colour, but nothing on height, age, etc. which would be cool imo.

If you are not into killing and stuff, this is a pretty fun virtual world to chat, have parties, buy islands, decorate houses and make friends.

If you try it lemme know. My nick is Peterbigeyes in there

Took a swing at Aika Online ... very pretty, has that "Korean MMO" feel and somewhat Lineage 2 art style.

But the quest-NPC interaction is a pretty serious fail as it drops into an interactive visual novel look. In a PvP situation, the player is a toasty target. In PvE, all other activities are impossible (even opening inventory).

Currently playing a Russian MMO called Allods which is very interesting. Also still bouncing around with Florensia (anime MMO) that has a nifty naval component.

Anyone need a couple guys to perma-party with? I'm up to trying random MMORPGs if it means making friends.

Nice thread btw it has a bunch of cool suggestions. I would recommend Wonderland Online, or you should try luna online. I've heard that a new game is coming out called Legend of Edda, perhaps it'll be out in a week or so? I would suggest that since joining an entirely new game is cool. Oh and thank you to the person suggested ragnorak online because I think I might try it

When it comes to MMORPG, why don't you give Shin Megami Tensei IMAGINE a try?

Well I have tried both Legend of Edda and Iris Online. I would suggest both but Iris Online has better graphics and more anime style.

I love it when they adapt video games into anime, and I guess it's also good when they adapt anime into video games.

Code Lyoko is another good french one.

Iris has fail gameplay. Graphics aren't that great to make up for it...

I would suggest to everyone -ever- to play Blade and Soul, but it's not out yet. Sadly. Just wait for it.

I had a friend tell me about B&S when it was announced and ever since I've been eagerly awaiting it.

It simply looks great, whether it plays great or not I don't really care, it looks great!

So far Vindictus makes a fair "spare time when your favorite MMO is down" playground. They've got some serious 'not ready for prime time' issues to solve before I'd recommend it as a primary MMO. The clever thing about the game is using player computers to host dungeon instances... but this is also its 'lag' problem. Korea is small and highly connected, the US/Canada is a sprawling mess with large variation in connectivity.

A second problem is the cash shop. Compared with other MMO cash shops they have a pretty unreasonable notion of pricing. Temp hair and temp underarmor cost real money and only last 30 days. If you run two characters you're going to spend more than you would subscribing to a full-featured pay-to-play MMO. Myself, I'm just not spending a dime -- they might get to see some money if they offer permanent hair/undies (the items improve your luck factor).
