Dub was surprisingly good tonight for Brotherhood, I enjoyed it.

The first Brotherhood volume is up on rightstuf, and contains the first 13 episodes. Release date is May 25th.

Also the blu-ray version is out on the same day.

I just watched the episode with Nina. It's so horrible. It was horrible when I saw it in FMA1 and it's still horrible now.

What humans will choose if they're on the verge of returning to a state where they'll starve to death.

It reminds me why FMA was so great to begin with, the great pace & storytelling. The original 50 episodes told a story so great, it would have needed 200 episodes in main stream animes.[Or even 300, given the many flashbacks in Naruto/Bleach/One Piece. Could've changed by now though.]

Lol Tucker didn't do what he did because he was afraid of starving to death. He simply saw a possibility which, as a scientist, he couldn't stop himself from trying.

How many episodes is this gonna be? It's already at 50, which is hard enough to marathon in a day, but if it goes too many higher I might not even bother.

There's no set episode-count, but at the current pacing, they should be caught up to the latest chapter (105) in about 2 months. And I suspect the manga only has two or three chapters to go before it ends, so... About 60 episodes in all, I guess?

63 episodes. But why on earth do you have to marathon it in a day?

Ah, can't do that in a day. Eureka 7 was done in a day, and was more awesome because of it.

Doing a series all at once is just more fun to me. Everything's fresh and has lots of impact.

Oh no, are you telling me you're going to pass this series just b/c of that strange (sorry!) hobby of yours? How about giving it 2 days instead? ^^;

But either way, it's not going to finish until June (if nothing out of schedule that is).

I'll still watch it, just not all at once. Maybe I'll split it between two days, or stay up and cram it all into one, or just watch it over a week or something. Apparently I"ve got until June to figure out something. xD

If you absolutely have to burn through it as quickly as possible, watch 1-45, and then watch the rest the next day. There's a time skip between 45 and 46 that makes it a good stopping point.

If i remember correctly, the PS2 games were released in America, along with the DS game.

Ah thx.

Hmm PS2 is out of the question I guess, no NTSC for me. But DS and PSP are region code free so I'll cross my fingers for a translation of the PSP game. .. and check out what the DS game is about xD

The Wii games look like fun, too, but I doubt I'll ever get a european version v_v

I wouldn't mind playing the PS2 games for the original stories. Plus i like the look of some of the new characters going by what we see in the official manga artbooks.

Can't wait to get my hands on this new PSP game though. Looks very promising.

It does look pretty cool, but I can't ever get excited over these games because I know that on the slim chance they're actually translated in english, they'll still never include the original japanese voices.

You have a point, though when it comes to the English dub i just turn it off.
