Well canon was pretty clear that they couldn't have children, Genya said as much during the cyborg explanation. Who exactly was the one who couldn't was never said, much less the reason.

I'unno, does this look like it can do heavy bombarding spells to you? Then again, this is the Nanoha-verse we're talking about. 8)!

Blaze Mode

A model that specializes in long range combat.
Gun Mode is unable to do long distance battles, mostly used for restraint and diversions, but Blaze Mode's form was shown in StrikerS Trading Cards SP06.
Teana is preparing and looking forward to when she is able to use Blaze Mode as well as she can use Dagger Mode when she's an Enforcer/as she's training to be one.
However, the surprise attack above ground on HQ lifted the ban. Being rushed into combat, Teana was unable to use Blaze Mode because of the possibility of making a mistake due to lack of training.
Because of that, this mode was not used in the original story.
