Yuri's past is illuminating, but not enough, imo.

You get the lil bit about why she wants to fight, but you don't know much else about her, and Otonashi's already spouting praises.

Obvious romance is obvious.

Methinks Maeda is a bit too used to writing romantic visual novels, where the guy can get the main girl just because. :P

It was more of a reason as to why Maeda isn't not going down that beaten path.

I find her more likable than Haruhi, imo.

I have a feeling that the ending will make people cry ... i mean even if yuri and oto gets in love , when they reincarnate they will forget evrything

I don't think Yuri did suicide, that seems far to simply to me. Really for Yuri's death now after how episode 3 went with Iwasa's past, makes me suspect something far more tragic and cruel to have happened to her than just suicide.

I also failed to notice she apparently died years after her family incident, so suicide seems a bit less likely than I initially thought.

So whatever killed her, it's probably something far nastier than what killed the others.
