Downloading problems

Well, thats it. I have a LAN connection at my university which gives me very fast speeds, and IE and direct downloads go as fast as 400 KB/sec. The problem is with kazaa, Bittorrent, Azureus, Emule....:

In Kazaa, I rarely get connections, and they rarely ascend to 5 KB.

In Emule, I go at 0,2 KB and keep disconnecting.

With Bittorrent, the download slows to 1 KB and most of the times it says "connecting to peers".

With azureus, There are yellow smilies always and I can't connect.

With shareaza, I connect for about 2 seconds, then the torrent download stops and says "choked".

Well, thats it. Also, my firewall is off, I followed all the tricks for azureus, and tried almost everything with all of these. Can somebody help me? I want to get to see the naruto series

PD: Also, there are always a lot of seeders, by the way.

Thanks in advance.

From what I see, your univ is filtering out the ports. The RIAA and MPAA are targetting Univ so in order to prevent any lawsuits, they block the ports. Most likely, you are out of luck. You can attempt to change your Azureus ports to download from a higher port range such as 10000-10100 but I cannot guarantee that it will work.

Looks like you are out of luck
