One more thing to add to this whole light business. Never sacrifice too much detail for some lighting, it really doesn't pay off (as shown in the first sig). Better to pick an eraser tool and be selective about what glows, where and how much it does. It's usual to leave the hair glowing and delete the bright parts on faces and skin generally, making eyes stand out, enhance clothing colors and stuff like that.

Gotta say, the second sig is much nicer to look at. Really like that one.

Yup agree with you but since I'm kinda laidback when I created the first one I said to myself while I'm creating the 2nd version I'll improved it a lot better and voila... It turned out that way

lol tnx though I don't use a crop tool to edit the characters, I've just rendered it from a source pic.

yup they're c4d, I'm only adding some brushes to make it more beautiful I guess, oh and for the sotm entry I've used an anime bg, using the clone stamp I clone the cherry blossoms and the moon

I'm incredibly sorry for the late....visit? welcome? Anyways, you have some seriously great works here. Your work with C4Ds is sooo much better than mine, I don't think I'll ever understand them properly :P

Your current signature, the Ange V2 signature, is perfect. Lighting is great, as well as the colours. One thing that is a little 'iffy' with me is the text. The 'A' and 'U' just don't seem right to me; they tend to draw my eyes away from Ange. Nothing important though.

Keep up the great work, and I promise to visit more often +cookies

I'm still not good when it comes to c4d, I think it's a fluke that they're resulting in that way. Still practicing since the only c4d I'm frequently and always using is the shattered one, so I'm practicing to change the habit of using that particular c4d. Anyway I'm bad at font/text styling so bear with it for a while
