I was happy about the Ichigo and co portions of the ep. Bored watching the lame ass fight that was Renji and co.

The problem is the power gap between Ichigo and the sidekicks are increasing exponentially at every opponent Ichigo is fighting. Renji gained his fame when he fought Ichigo (I still think its the tattos

), Rukia earned her fans through her interaction with Ichigo, and Chad is the lovable silent friend with the heart of gold. None of them are popular because of their fighting abilities. Even Ishida gained his popularity because how neat the man is with a needle and threads, and he is the strongest among the sidekicks. So when these character are highlighted in an episode for their fights, it just shows how pathetic they truly are everytime Ichigo fights a monster. It also paints the lack of development all these characters receive once the importance of their story are exhausted. Pretty sad, really. After that, they are pretty much used as fill-in to those important moments in Bleach. Bench warmers.

I'm just glad the tree-monster is finished and now they have to deal with Yammi. Hopefully someone will die here. teh-heh..

Well... I feel sorry for Ulquiorra, all he wanted was to grab Orihime's BIG BOOBS heart ...and yet he couldn't, I can't blame him tho cause in the end.... isn't that what men have dreamt of from the very moment they considered becoming hollowified beasts?

I think this episode was trying to be emotional (it had sad music), but I can't care for any of the characters because.. well, character development is horrid in Bleach.

Well I think she just plain forgot about that ability. I mean Ishida is in pretty bad shape there, but she can't really spend a moment worrying about that

. Ishida really needs to stay away from these massive fights for his own safety.

Quite the end for Ulq. He just took way too much internal damage. Still have to give him credit that unlike some he was perfectly willing to humour Ichigo by cutting off limbs

. But this time was different than with Byakuya. His opponent wasn't able to finish the fight with a normal Ichigo.

Ahh finally ashed. But I never did like the way he died all that much (the slow part, not the cero). He's a complete jackass to everyone and now he's all "Oh I tried to understand you people"? To get this kind of ending, he needed better inquisition/writing by Kubo, not 2 seconds asking Inoue "Wtf is a heart?"

hm, I've got to thank the anime because I always thought Ichigo was just talking nonsense when he came back, but he actually is seriously wrecked by what his other self did there

The part I wasn't clear on was post-blast, he actually threw his carcus to the ground, I thought he was just being thrown by the blast itself. More cold heartededness ftw.

This is one of my favorite episodes of Bleach now. This episode really made me feel sad because it was, well, sad. ;-; I love it so much though, and I feel happy because this episode was wonderful. ^^
