Eiko Shimamiya Cancels Her Concert Due to Thyroid Cancer

Singer & songwriter Eiko Shimamiya announced in her official twitter that she was diagnosed as thyroid cancer and her live concert Eiko Shimamiya 2010 LIVE “Perfect World” was canceled. It was scheduled to be held on June 20th.

I seriously cried a good bit over this news. I love Eiko and her music so much, so this is kinda hard to deal with. Luckily, thyroid cancer is apparently easily taken care of.

It's easy to take care of? Thank goodness... I love Shimamiya Eiko. I hope she'll be alright.
