Looking for a manga similiar to

Hikaru no go.
Or any other good manga that I should read.
I really like Hikaru no go at the begining when a certain person was present. After the person disappear, everything kind of went downhill for me.. The ending disappoint me, too.... Was really looking forward to an awesome ending.. Anyway I'm looking for a similar manga, hoping it would have a better middle and ending.!! Thanks!
OR any other awesome manga that I should read!

Bakuman would be a good place to start, what with both main characters wanting to be the best at something. If we're to follow that pattern of main character, then there's also Yu-Gi-Oh.

Though if it's the game of Go which you're interested in, then there's titles like Saki and Shion no Ou.

Also i haven't read it, though i've heard that Katana is quite a bit like Hikaru no Go.

Oo Thanks I'll check those out.
I'm not really interested in Go..Lol I just like the plot. Shindo was chasing after Akira, trying to get better and better and how Akira in return was chasing after the person that's within Shindo.
I watched Yu-Gi-Oh anime so.. I will not read that one..
THanks!

you may want to try Chihayafuru (B-U link), which slightly reminded me of Hikaru no Go. the premise and feeling are somewhat similar; but instead of Go, you have a traditional Japanese Card Game (see here). sadly, only a few chapters have been scanlated.

you may also want to look at Liar Game (thread at AS), which has a couple of very interesting psychological games.

if you don't mind reading light novels, you may want to give a chance to Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria (thread at AS). it's a very interesting and unique work, especially if you get to the third volume, where it involves a nice psychological game as well..

I want to read manga that already have a lot of chapters out. The ones you gave me doesn't have a lot..I don't like to wait weekly to read a new chapter.
As for Liar game, a friend recommended me the Japanese Drama Liar Game and it's very good. I like it a lot! I don't think I'll read the manga though.
Thanks for the suggestions.
I like Horror/Psychological genres.
I started reading Bakuman and it's pretty good.!
