The anime airs very early Friday morning in Japan(or 26:15 on Thursdays), according to my sources...so if I convert to my time zone(Pacific), then it would air at 10:15 AM during Thursday at SD. And right now for me, it's still Wednesday.

This will probably be true, considering Alpha Stigma will be the focus of the episode, so they will probably end the episode with the activation and a cliffhanger.

Don't know why but does anyone get a feeling they are watching Slayers. It's just something about the characters and the setting that makes me think of the old series.

Sion has a feel similar to Griffith in Berserk, hope he will not end in the same way

somehow i feel the story of their past in eps 2 is more interesting than the typical fantasy story in eps 1

Holy @#$)*@), this episode surpassed ALL my expectations. Since I already know the plot and basing on the first two episodes I wouldn't expect much out of this one even though this is the first glimpse of Alpha Stigma.

BUT!

Man oh man, I never thought I would say this but Jun Fukuyama is SOOOOOOOOOO BADASS. The whole activation scene and the laughs just send waves of excitement down my spin and make my hair tingles. And the gore~~~ so much of it, so much so much so much, and so deliciously bloody!!!!! The music and the animation are quite mood-fitting and stunning as well. This could've been the season end episode and I wouldn't be surprised. I'm glad they didn't wimp out on the cruelty of war. And the pace!!! ZEXCS did well fitting one volume into two episodes without losing any of the flavors that make this series.

This is just total wow for me, and almost make me forgive for everything they did to Regios ... almost. Just wow ... I'm so rewatching this again. I totally hope I'm not over-hyping this for everyone else but I just finished watching it and was a total blast for me, so yeah ... keep your expectations low ... somewhat.

This anime sort of reminds me of Ichiban Ushiro No Daimaou!
It seems pretty nice, just a little scattered together right now, i'm sure they'll fix it as they go along with the episodes

All the people watching High School of the death because of the GORE, should try this hehehe. It was an amazing episode, I love how the things about Kiefer and Ryner were done, and i love that crazy Alpha Stigma out of control.

Every episode leave us thinking "Oh, now this is all that this show has to show, we know what the plot is about" But with every new episode we discover that we were wrong, there are always more and more.

My favorite for the season.... a long wait to next episode jeje

@AnimeBuddy. Mmm i think that there is nothing in common with that anime, here we dont have fanservice or harem girls every two minutes....

I think the most accurate description is Slayers + Sousei no Aquarion = Yuusha no Densetsu.
