Shark Week 2k11!!!

Anyone else watching Shark Week on Discovery Channel? I've been up since 6 a.m. learning about these deadly predators. This is, by far, my favorite time of the year.

^Will you learn anything from this Shark Week that is different from last years? Or the year before? Or before? Or anytime during the past 20+ seasons?

Besides, we all know you are only watching for Craig Ferguson...

p.s. anyone else remember that awful 3D stunt Discovery pulled back in 1999-2000 for Shark Week?

Damn, it started airing already? I miss out on all the good stuff now that my TV is out of order.

My favorite show so far is Ultimate Air Jaws. The name alone should be enough to get anyone to watch it, but just in case you need more encouragement.

Yes, I already learned that Florida has more unprovoked shark attacks than anywhere else in the world.

What's even worse is that I can remember watching Shark Week way back in 1993, and it had already been on 5-6 seasons at that point .

Here's the Secret History Of Shark Week

You'd be surprised. I always learn something new.

I'm a big fan of shark week. I learned that Great Whites actually fail to kill their target 50% of the time and end up swimming away hungry. It's due to the fact that they roll their eyes back to protect them when they attack.
