The BD is about as expensive as I imagined (i.e. way too expensive), but man, that looks good. Seems like there's some sort of bonus story/epilogue bundled with it. On the bright side, it's confirmed to have English subs as well~

Can anyone find it listed on amazon.co.jp? It is apparently ¥38,850 according to the comments on ANN: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/...c.php?t=134053

Here is the Amazon Japan link. So I was right in guessing that they'd release the special epilogue when they'd re-release all seven movies on blu-ray lol.

Gonna wait for Animate, CDJapan, Amiami to list their releases and see if they have any special external bonuses before I make an order for the box set.

$620 US is a tad overkill for me.
A shame too, I'd really want to import this.

Okay, some other online stores have now listed their releases with some exclusive bonuses.

Sofmap - Exclusive Telephone Card and a Set of 4 Pencil Boards
CharaAni - 52cm x 73cm Cross Poster

To get the Sofmap bonuses though, you gotta pre-order before November 1st, 2010. I shall wait for Animate, Amiami and a few others to see what bonuses they will have before deciding which store to buy from.

Animate has finally listed their release and they get two big bonuses as well.

Animate - New Original B2 Size Wallscroll and Set of 5 Postcards.

I'm gonna be a bit crazy and probably order both Animate and Sofmap's release lol.

Do it and give me the second box without exclusive bonus
Tell us your trick to get so much money !

Seriously this box is really tempting specially with english subtitles & the epilogue.
I would have expected more bonus like interviews or making off. For example they released gorgeous key animation books so animatics videos would have been great (and I'm afraid to damage my genga books by flipping them ).

Yeah i know what you mean. I could probably save up the money no problem for it, though that means no buying at all for a good few months, and i don't know if i'd be able to live without doing that.

I managed to acquire this limited exclusive staff book of Kara no Kyoukai many months ago where it was sold at Comiket 77 and finally decided to take some photos of certain artworks that either stood out to me or were funny/scary in a way hahaha. It's just mainly a collection of thank you messages from the production staff after completing work on the seven movies with most containing original artworks specifically made for this book. It's also funny that I only noticed today that they included some small cute and funny flip page animations on both the bottom left and right hand corner of each page, might need to make a gif out of that if I ever buy a scanner. Anyway, enjoy the pics.

I was hesitating to get this book since I didn't really know what was the content but it seems great. Thank you for the photos.
Some pics are really funny
I'm a little surprised to see Fujo Kirie picture but I like the drawing.

LOL, I managed to get the posters for both the 2009 and 2010 Awa Odori Tokushima Festival.

Spoiler for large size image of the posters:

The 2010 festival also had a Touhou Project poster made for it as well. I got that with the 2010 KnK poster off YJA.

Spoiler:

I think I'll get someone to frame the KnK posters cos they look absolutely gorgeous to be put away in storage.

Really gorgeous but the prices had to be crazy (thousands of yen) ...
I love the second poster.

New CM videos for the upcoming BD boxset:

30sec version

15sec 'Shiki' Version

15sec 'Line Drawing' Version

Pre-ordered my set from amazon.co.jp, the final price ended up being about 2000 yen cheaper, which canceled out the shipping costs.

New CM for the epilogue chapter to be included in the BD release: http://www.karanokyoukai.com/movie/bd_pv.html

Edit: And 11/1 is the cutoff date to pre-order a first-pressing edition.
