Where can I locate the torrent files in utorrent planning on migrating files.

Hi, I've been using utorrent for a while and I plan to migrate the torrent files. I can't seem to locate them, it not like with bitcomet where everything is there. The files that I'm looking for are the .xml file and the torrent file.

Thank you

For the torrent files you can find them in the user's folder in appdata folder somewhere (depends on the windows version). BTW, you do have an option for utorrent to store the torrents in folder you specify then next time you don't need to go to find them.

On Vista and maybe 7 as well it's C:Users/(your username)/AppData/Roaming/uTorrent
You may have to enable display of hidden system files in order to see the AppData folder, google around for that.

Did something similar but I technically 'lost' everything. Ended up putting the old files in my new torrent folder and then loading up from the matching .torrent files. Since everything was at 100% already it started back up with minimal issues.

Why not use the search function to scan the hard drive for anything ending in .torrent? Select them all and copy them to somewhere safe.
