Oh the actual storyline hasn't changed what makes it a bit better though is the differences. It would be a issue if the actual storyline changed, but it is a better in looking at the differences. I mean we never saw the added scene after Rukia gets beat by Yammy. This whole Ichiukia scene

Anyway, I actually think Byakuya was being quite nice to Ichigo. Or at least considerate. It's Kenpachi who's acting like a jerk, I guess he forgot Ichigo pwning his ass with nothing but a shikai without using Getsuga Tenshou.

Ichigo with hollow mask would buttrape Kenpachi, yet the guy still has the audacity to treat Ichigo like trash.

He probably did not forget, he probably just treats all the enemies that have ever (or even got close) to defeating him. Probably a show of respect in a strange way Since he always wants to kill Ichigo for revenge of the loss he was given.

Hmmm...well animation is still neat though.

Liked the additional stuff and every episode with Kenpachi is a good Kenpach-...err...is a good episode.

Though the filler sucks yet again, but it´s only one episode and not some whole arc again.

...don´t understand why they just can´t make a break and concentrate on making a good episode or even better a one hour special, instead of making some crappy filler and actually waste time and ressources on making it...since most of us skip the fillers, why even make them?

i'm actually looking forward to the next filler arc, to be honest. it looks hilarious. watched the last 4 episodes today, and, well, i miss the gore that was censored. added some impact. but the anime can trail even longer than the manga (!)

But kenpachi was not using kendo and an unnamed zanpaktou

He still only uses an unnamed zanpakuto and his kendo would have less effect against a hollowfied Ichigo don't you think?

But he beat Nnoitora(?) while Ichigo couldn't seem to do much, if I recall.
Power level comparisons are messed up anyways.

Ichigo wasn't in hollow form though if he was he would be able too plus he just got out the fight with Grimmjow
