thanks...i've been kinda making a LS Vitrual Season fan-made fiction and I'd need the character profiles if I want them in the manga.

Oh oh...many are saying that scanlators are not translating L*S anymore 'cus Bandai licensed it...isn't that right?

As far as I know, after the one group that was translating it stopped, no one else picked it up long before Bandai became involved...

There's no chapters I'm seeing after it.

BTW...what does happen if you try scanlating a manga licensed by Bandai? (They must be "afraid" to scanlate L*S without a reason. Bandai would sue them? XD)

Duh?

Most scanlators drop projects when they hear a title has been licensed because their purpose was to raise awareness and that has been accomplished.

Yes, a legal C&D or a DMCA take-down would be the likely action. I've started several translation projects only to see the work get licensed. After that, the only incentive I have to continue on my own - is to compare my understanding of piece of dialog with the publisher's translation.

And lately we have the other end of the problem: publisher's who won't FINISH a manga series but won't release the license. Both ARIA and Tsukuyomi Moon Phase are among these. Tokyopop holds both and is just sitting on them. I'm considering doing the last 4 TMP volumes out of irritation. So much remains out of the ARIA series, I don't know I have enough time to take that project on.

In Volume 5, on page 35, we see Tsukasa say she uses the names of people she's interested in for her game characters, and Konata replies that she has to check out Tsukasa's saved games. Cut to Hiyori saying that's the kind of material she likes from Tsukasa, not her manga suggestions.

So...was Hiyori watching the scene, or did Konata tell her about it the next day, or was it all just one of Hiyori's daydreams? Just asking.

Anyways vol.6-7 chapters you'll see more and more girls are becoming "Otaku Girls" like Konata.

Izumi Wakase is an otaku girl also...has onii-chan love. XD

Anybody got some ideas around this new otaku Izumi Wakase's personality?

I know she's an otaku...but what else is in her? Is she shy? bold? too optimistic? pessimistic? uhh...naive? (i doubt that.) maybe like Yui (K-ON) who likes sweets? or maybe like Tsukasa who dreams on being a bride? XD
