ZAN! DATSU!

My god this looks fantastic. Too bad the cutting seems to be *shudder* motion-based...

Metal Gear Solid Rising: Lighting Bolt Action.

Showing tells more than telling, so I'll let the video do the talking:

Wow, just bloody wow.

Dammit Kojima for not giving us a realease date!! We can't hold our breaths indefinitely, you know!!

Now if only they'll make that World War 2 Prequel wherein you can play the greatest warrior of them all, The Boss Herself....

I wonder how Kojima will get this past the censors in Australia who notoriously made Valve take out persistent bodies, limb dismemberment and zombie policemen from L4D2 yet at the same time had no issue with the new Alien vs Predator game showing people getting their skulls and attached spinal cord getting ripped out.

I was going to bring this up too.

I guess we'll probably have to import our copies.

Haha.

Just not in the spirit of MGS in my opinion.

Ever since the appearance on Gray Fox in MGS1, I've wanted to do what you're gonna be able to do in this game. Epic fun.

So it's pretty much Ninja Raiden, eh. It actually looks very fun. Hopefully, it will have a little more plot than your average beat them all.

Really looking forward to this, although that crafty Kojima didn't give us a release date. Judging from the trailer, I'm going to spend 50% of this game using the slow motion feature

I can't believe that half of the German "gamers" are bitching about how this Zan-system is too brutal and bestial and degrading. There are really people out there who feel guilty for cutting pixels and textures in half...
It's the same thing like it was with the "No Russian" mission in MW2. It's a game damnit! A game for adults, not kids!

I've read through the first page of this topic and haven't seen anyone complain about how this game would be degrading and stuff. Are we Germans really that different when it comes to violance in video games?
I'd really like to hear you opinions on that.

This really isn't anything new to Americans... Ninja Gaiden is just as bloody, for example. The only difference is here you can decide what limbs to cut off and when.

Nothing to get too excited over. The only way this game will raise any controversy is if it has a sex scene.

Metal Gear Solid Special Missions, my friend.

That was great fun. So worth doing all the other missions to play as Gray Fox.
