Hey you know, since 'Rick' was 'promoted' to the rank of admiral in subsequent Robotech spinoffs, imagining him in that mustache just doesn't seem all that implausible any more...

gundam 00's movie is due to release today (or tomorrow) XD I know gundam is not macross...but you could watch the bluray of gundam 00's movie while waiting for the macross second movie

My heart skipped a beat when I saw numerous posts in the thread, thinking that maybe, just maybe, 'there must be juicy movie info for me to spaz over and squee', but then I find out that it's just Yot-chan and mag flirting (like they strangely seem to do lately) and I threw my banana at the screen.

I wish there were more information about the second movie but it does seem that the movie will consist of entirely new content. Although I'm not sure whether that will be a good thing or a bad thing, that remains to be seen.

Well it's not the series continuity entirely, it still contains some type of similarity to certain events in the TV series. I see the movies more of an alternate retelling if anything, which is why I'm crossing my fingers that the second movie's plot involves events following Frontier's landing on the Vajra planet somehow.

Although I doubt we'll be getting anything close to that

Macross Frontier the Movie: The Wings Of Goodbye

from the title...i think the story will revolving around ALTO who lost his wings...
by any means....he lost sheryl and ranka....in many way..could be..

-maybe they dump him badly...because of his Undecisive in love
-ranka and sheryl died in an accident....eaten by VAJRA
-ranka and sheryl fighting each other...and killing each other...using a new type of VF (like macross 7 type...a female robot with boobs)
-ranka and sheryl lost in a wild VAJRA jungle while on DIVA Tournament concert camp (maybe kidnaped by Vajra)
-ranka jelous and killed alto and sheryl...using a SAW just like in school days anime..
-both Diva lose her singing ability because of VAJRA Virus
-both DIVA are bored with alto....and make love with VAJRA...because of some hormone disorder..
-both DIVA have to stay forever in VAJRA ISLAND while singing everyday to control the VAJRA behavior..and alto leaving them behind
-ALTO choose to become a full-fledged KABUKI and become a 100% GAY...so sheryl an ranka...dump him
-ALTO choose the SKY...THE END..
