Sometimes i wonder why people bother to reboot a series at all, i mean it is ok if the original team tries to do it, but getting external people just ends up in a cock up. Just have a look a Perfect Dark and Perfect Dark Zero, how they try to rewrite Jona Dark's history, which ended up being completely weird. Instead capcom should have told ninja theory to create a new IP for them, although capcom seems to have bad luck with foreign created new IPs lately.

It seem Ninja Theory need "CANCEL"!! this game before anything bad happen to them. LOL, if i were Ninja Theory staff, i dare cancel ASAP before TGS show up but it's late

You know, i kinda agree the man who say boycott DmC where Capcom is suddenly "silent" & never listening to the fan.

I'm kinda curious on this project tbh LOL.
Especially after hear New dante will keep evolve along the game, now the problem is their gonna change this beat-up franchise to bad clone of GoW or not,

It was explained quite clearly in that Eurogamer interview.

Basically, there's nothing wrong with the original Dante per se, just that they wanted it to sell more copies. Bobby Kotick would be proud.

Personally, Capcom should be focusing on improving the current setup they have so far. To switch developers and reboot the entire thing is too drastic and jarring for fans who have recognized a character, with his own continuous story, and who has become iconic within the Capcom pantheon in his own right.

Dante is no Megaman who can easily have multiple incarnations in different settings. I mean, how would fans feel if Street Fighter got such a reboot?

I think it would help Capcom and Ninja Theory's case if they actually show some gameplay footage of the actual game, which we all know won't be released anytime soon. People are left with imagining this new DMC with Heavenly Sword gameplay in their heads, and that's not exactly the DMC that fans want to see.

This game will live or die based on the framerate they go with. It's got to be silky smooth 60 fps. I can stand some slowdown in areas like in other DMC games but 30 fps is downright unacceptable.

Iam VERY worried also about the female designs here. You know remember Dark Stalkers and Street Fighter US cartoon? Also seeing NT games this game will be a slower. Also a reboot just to get the origin of Dante's white hair?! This is worst than Rogue getting her white streak of grey on Xmen movie.... >_>

Know what? I don't care what name this game gets. It's not DMC. These guys just have the wrongest possible definition of "cool" possible.

But hell, I don't care about them...I just can't find the justification on Capcom's side. First, we get the ever-trolling producer of Street Fighter, who loves to jerk around with fans and now this. Can't understand their motives anymore.

Now, I don't play DMC, and never have, though I always liked the concept, design and music. From that alone, this "reboot" just screams "APPEALTOTHEMASSES, GETMONIES FFFF" tbh. The "emo" look screams Twilight even.

It's what's "in" now it would seem and it's gonna rake in the cash. A shame.

Street Fighter having troll? Since when? I can see they bring SFIII Third Strike back and finally made into PS3 & Xbox 360. Even they bring back Yun & Yang in SSFIV.

The problem is Ninja Theory ruining DMC's classic deep story & character design, that's their problem now. Is NT deaf or what? They want money? I think NT is on the drug. Dante never smoke and his design is totally freaking Edward Cullen-ish.
